At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Honestly, it’s what we see in real life. We all want to believe we live in the best country, the best state, the best town. So many people turn a blind eye to what’s right in front of them! The Florida Project is what many large towns face every day. This movie shows a glimpse of a single mother struggling to make ends meet to take care of her daughter. That’s just a quarter of the big portion. People need to open their eyes and take a look at what troubles our projects have. You never know what little impact you may have on someone’s life. This movie hit home and I loved it. Children may recognize that they may not have what other children or families do, but they don’t dwell on it like adults do. They tend to live in their own kingdom at times. They are carefree. Innocents in a child is a beautiful thing. The friends, they make during this time is critical for their future.
