Just discovered this show in early January 2023 and binge watched all four seasons, two or three episodes a night. I love this show and so do so many others because it's about love, not just romantic love but caring and neighborly love and it also is very real and deals with medical emergencies that we all encounter as well as familiar issues of grieving the death of a loved one, postpartum depression, drug trafficking and PTSD. There's a character on this show for everyone to identify with from teenagers to combat veterans to country doctors to middle-aged and elderly folk and I could go on. There's no fancy special effects but there's beautiful scenery.I understand it was shot in British Columbia and the leisurely views of gorgeous scenery punctuate the action. On many different levels it is very real. I don't watch a lot of television but I love this series as much as I loved Downton Abbey. The plot twists are clever but believable and every episode ends on a cliffhanger including the final one of season 4. I understand season 5 should be released by July 2023 and I can't wait! The acting is excellent and very natural.
