I personally absolutely LOVED this book! Very entertaining, funny, & surprisingly moving! I used it for reading instruction some years, but others I used it as a read aloud book. I cried EVERY time at the ending. I taught 3rd grade for over 3 decades & it was also one of my kids’ favorites!!!
