I enjoy this show, which surprised me. Reason being, I'm not usually a fan of cooking shows. I have been watching "The Great British Baking Show-The Beginnings" (Netflix). The "Pie" episode was good, although, their take on American-style pies, I found to be amusing. Sorry, Brits, you have no idea how to make an American- style pie. And, to call it American pie, is laughable. Where's then pie plate, to bake the pie? Do you know how to make pie crust? One big tip to get a flaky bottom crust, bake on the bottom oven rack, closest to the heating element. I have had success with nicely browned bottom crusts, and no soggy bottoms.
