For the past 9yrs, my husband and I watch Tipping Point almost daily...and that shows how much we love this TV show...watching it again today and there is a black lady ( Lorraine) on the programme. Being a person of colour myself, I love seeing people of colour excell or do well on the show...and today after 9yrs of watching, I realise this show almost always has only 1 person of colour competing amongst the 4 mostly white contestants....coming from a country where a quota system determined the national sports teams I.e South Africa. I do not like to play the race card, but I can't help but recognize this in this show. There's absolutely never...(at least not when we've been watching).. been 3 non white contestants vs 1 white contestant combination, ever...anyone noticed this?
