Pieces of a Woman was a stunningly real depiction of the experience of a woman finding herself. It was delightfully poetic in that the symbols in this movie made the understanding of Martha's pain so available to the audience. Dramatically spoken words can never quite capture the same raw emotion. It truly is a movie that could hit home to any person who has experienced tumultuous family relations and has struggled with their own identity. Inspiring and raw.
