i love A24 films, i feel like their creative crew really knows how to hit the spot without having a film be too corny. Aesthetically all their movies are pleasing regardless the genre. this movie left me satisfied, i was excited because the trailer gave me the same vibe as “beau is afraid” a previous wacky movie they made. It was a very believable storyline which is why it kept me so interested because whole time i was thinking “ hmm what would actually happen if this occurred”, people say that this movie is predictable but i see it being more realistic which makes it interesting because of the curiosity it brings to one. like yes i wanna know what would happen if this happened to someone. i think the way they include Gen Z into this specific film is spot on, as a teenager i like to watch movies that don’t make me cringe at the people who are my age in it. i had a few laughs. This does not feel like another recycled movie plot, and perhaps it’s because im recovering from a broken heart but the ending scene did make me tear up.i don’t regret buying my movie ticket. -19
