I wouldn't recommend watching June. It wasn't engaging at all. A bunch of cheesy jokes, a handful of cringeworthy dialogues, and school romance cliches thrown together to take you through a young girl's life into adulthood. But it possibly can't fall into the "coming-of-age" genre as June apparently hasn't really grown up or become any more the wiser than she was when back in school... (Also, she does not seem to have made any friends after her 11th and 12th grade...!!!) Overall, I think this is one highly overrated movie.
