As a Percy Jackson fan and reader since middle school, I think this show is amazing. Not only is it a good and faithful adaptation of the books, but it also strives to be more creative while staying true to the story. Also, the cast is absolutely incredible !!! I adore their love for Percy Jackson and its worldbuilding. They know their characters very well and you can clearly see the love and passion they put into making this show. I also think the foreshadowing is great so far, especially with mentions of Thalia and portrayals of Percy and Annabeth’s fatal flaws. Some things can still be improved such as the pacing and direction of certain scenes and dialogue but overall, this show is a must-watch. I have high hopes for the next seasons to come (once it gets renewed) and I’m sure it’ll only get better from here.
