Dr. Phil is not condescending. I thought that as well when I first started watching him. Over the years, watching him everyday, I realized it is his caring and much concern for the people he try's to help. Sometimes, when people don't get it. It can be frustrating. Just like parents trying to deal with their teens. Dr. Phil has helped many people over the years get the help they need. He has done a fabulous job and so has Robin his wife. They are a beautiful team.
