Not the best Star Wars movie to date by any means (tough to beat the OT), but still entertaining and 100% better than the dumpster fire that was The Last Jedi. It’s pretty clear that Abrams tried his best to make a film for the fans this time around, but he had his work cut out for him with Carrie Fisher having died prior to filming and of course the damage that Johnson had done to the story what with killing off Snoke and Luke so quickly. Making a truly great film given those circumstances would have been a Herculean feat and was probably unlikely to happen. That said, I think he did a pretty good job finishing up this trilogy and making a fun film for the fans.
