Considering that I am a 90's kid and there for have seen and loved the original are you afraid of the dark even though when I was little I used to be a little bit scared of the stories I still loved it non the less as part of my childhood. Even though this new Afraid of the dark is not the original it was still very good and although it was different from the original I feel that it definitely lived up to to its predecessor enough to the point where I hope that they continue and maybe even bring back the original midnight society.
