Really evocative of the best parts of the early 1970s where kids were largely unsupervised and could set up all sorts of going concerns amongst the Californian famous, with, humorous results. Both leads are authentic and believable and the not so cameos from the now famous playing the then famous are fantastic. Many a jape in this superbly rendered period piece and it’s great having leads who are not glamorous.
