Shinkai does it again!! I've been a die hard fan of Makoto Shinkai ever since I watched Your Name and then Weathering with you, Five centimetres per second and Garden of Words back to back. The world he creates usingmagical visuals and mesmerizing music is just overwhelming. He is truly a wizard. The movie was fast-paced but didn't feel like it was. Every scene was beautifully made and captured emotions. Wonderful characterisation and writing. The movie beautiful portrayed the emotions a child feels when something precious is taken away at a young age. We got to see nature at its peak (as we do in most of Shinkai's movies) as the story smartly leverages the number of earthquakes that take place in Japan and puts it in a mythical plot. Loved every bit of it. Waiting for the next one.
