One of my favorite game series' of all time, besides the LoZ franchise and its library. I'm mostly drawn in by the worlds and music that make me want to live in this creation, it gives me a sense of freedom and the landscapes are so beautiful and large that even after hundreds of hours of play time I'm still finding new things. The narrative lacks in some aspects, and with such a large cast for each game, character's are flawed in development, but overall it's very enjoyable. With such a large world and so many characters however, understanding the story may be difficult for some. This game is definitely not for everyone, especially when it comes to the fighting gameplay style. You are needed to build a team that revolves around your playable character and its build before going to a battle, and once you're in, you're not only needed to pay attention to your own character but what everyone else on your party is doing for the best results. Takes awhile to pick up without a guide, but very rewarding.
