In this album, you'll find a unique yet strongly cohesive album that has a soft-punk flavour as it incorporated both rock and pop in a way that is charming for fans of both respective genres without being jarring to either but in fact enhancing the journey through Rina Sawayama's state of mind. It even eloquently discusses topics such as capitalism; disrespect to commonly thought of as foreign lands; microaggressions, the toll of familial ties to wealth and mental health; climate change. All those topics whilst still managing to be authentic, beautiful and most of all, fun to listen to. Sawayama will find a way to touch your heart whilst lifting your spirits to a new height that will inspire you to dance like when you're a teenager with no cares or worries about the world. Truly, the masterpiece 2020 needed.
