I believe that this book is absolutely amazing. Once you begin reading you can’t put it down it is that fantastic. Also I love the bond between Patroclus and Achilles and how it slowly developed throughout the book.
Additionally, I loved how throughout the book Thetis seemed cruel and like she absolutely despised Patroclus but right at the end she seemed slightly sympathetic towards him.
However, there is only one thing that I wish was in the book and that is the greek myth of Achilles mother (Thetis) dipping Achilles in the river Styx (runs through the underworld), whilst holding him by his heel. Therefore making Achilles be invulnerable to most physical attacks, excluding a small spot on their body that if stuck will instantly kill them. For Achilles this was he heel as that’s where Thetis held when she dipped him
Overall this book was practically perfect except for one thing but I do love the rest and I recommend this book to anybody who enjoys reading romance, lgbtq+, Greek mythology.
