The Outer Banks. What an amazing TV show to binge. I personally love the cast, location and suspense that keeps you watching. I love the friendship dynamic that the Pogues have. As a young teen, I feel excited for my years to come. I dream to go on treasure hunt like the Pogues did. I have a few questions to answer regarding the show. Although, I am young and probably not reliable, I can hopefully show you what it is like through your child's eyes. "Why is the Outer Banks rated Mature?" Well, as much as I would like to defend it there are a few sexual scenes along the way. Not much though and it got me thinking why it was rated this way. I believe it may be rated Mature because there is underage smoking, drinking, drugs and some murder. The bad language was expected, but if your child is used to that in shows, I believe it would be ok. "Why is the Outer Banks so addicting?" I like to think that OBX is addicting due to the suspense they use at the end of each episode, a fun friendship dynamic and an amazing script. "Is the Outer Banks too mature for my child?" The show it's self isn't really bad compared to other teen shows but If your child doesn't react well to violent scenes, I don't recommend it. I would rate the age as Tv-14 from my eyes. I'm not really sure if that would be correct for you, but I do believe the age rating on Netflix, is a little high. To rap up, it is a very fun show to watch over and over. The intensity of these characters really keep you watching. This review is written by a Teen to help you see the show through your child's eyes.

I absolutely love the show! Before watching I thought it would be quite scary, but it was not and has a wonderful storyline with amazing characters. I love the town of Hawkins and I can't wait to see the new season when it comes. I believe that season 3 was the best because it had more creativity and amazing locations. I wish I could go to Starcourt in real life! I overall recommend Stranger Things to anyone who loves adventure and loves the 80's!
