When entered the theater to see The Hobbit, I was hopeful. By the end, I was livid. Peter Jackson had once again tarnished Tolkien's masterpieces in order to turn a quick buck. He made a 200 page novel into a three movie trilogy, and butchered it in the process. I have never felt sorrier for a cast of such outstanding actors that they had to work with such an utter muppet.

An absolute masterpiece, my favorite film of the year. Technically spectacular, visually stunning, and emotionally gripping.
