Good acting, interesting plot, but terrible ending. The last scene in particular was too short for any sort of resolution to the story line, felt like all build up with no / too short a conclusion. Not sure if it was a conscious choice by the director to provoke dialogue or a set up for a sequel, either way got to the end and just felt disappointed.
Really is a shame, the first part of the movie, was absolutely brilliant, between the acting, set pieces, and character arcs it was really setting itself up to be a new favorite film. Unfortunately the following 2/3s was interesting but provided little new information barring a few surprises, which created this deep desire for a resolution that never came / was too short, so just felt disappointed rather than contemplative of the many great implications surrounding nuclear war structures / preparedness the movie did so well at showing.
Curious if things were cut during editing to shorten the run time or if this was the the directors / writers entire vision. If the former, I hope they release the cut scenes because this film has a lot of great potential. If the latter, then it really is just disappointing.
