Spencer Marshall

Started interestingly enough and took the readers through his rise to where he got to. Self -proclaimed I believe but that doesn’t really bother me as his account was believable to me anyway. My problem with the book is that the last quarter is sooooo boring, that if I wasn’t on holiday it would have been put on a shelf way before getting to the end. Chapter after chapter of ‘no-one cares mate’. Well done for dragging your career out to get your £1m bonus. Doing nothing, turning up, cycling, eating, walking….. just a tedious read and massively disappointing end to the book. Like others, after seeing him on various channels and social media platforms I was expecting something bigger and better as a grand finale. I just hope he’s not left it here as a ‘teaser’ for the next book as, I for one, won’t be buying it I’m afraid.
