Is it possible to give negative stars? I don't know the original story but this movie version made no sense. Perhaps it was the acting. I don't know if the dad character lost his mind early in the movie or perhaps he was meant to be quirky but Nicholas Cage's acting was terrible. Every character was a bit 'off'. What did the daughter's bedroom conjuring or ritual have to do with anything? I thought she was elicting the help of some entity but that scene tied back to nothing. Sorry, I didn't get it.

Horrible! The title was a clue but we bought tickets anyway. The plot is all over the place. What is it about??? I think M. Night may have collaborated on the script. 😐 I love you Jordan P. but this one is a 'nope' for me.
