This took away any of the “original “ elements that made the first movie one of my favorites. Too much nonsensical science that no one believes they could understand or know and really? Racial stereotypes? Too many side characters that bring nothing imo other than trying to tie up everything on the “science “ part of this movie. While the heroine is one of my favorite new actresses she’s wasting her talents here. Also didn’t need to see so much rehash and footage from the first film. Definitely a play in the background, Netflix watch. Also they should hire or consult a real comedian for the presumed 3rd and finally last movie in the series that saw all potential wasted on this drab, unfunny, boring, not so scary bad movie.🗣💤
