The person who thought the spells would help them into the Afterlife made me chuckle. I'm sure he or she will be spitting mad with me, but really - if s/he wants to get into the Afterlife just take an overdose or jump into the sea. That should do it, though where they end up after that is a moot point. The book is beautifully presented, lovely images and well written. I was disappointed with the Tibetan Book of the Dead, which is a 20th Century European mis-translation, but this is far more informative.
