Fred Strong

Fun, trippy film that plays the audience as it plays characters of the story. Cast is great...O'Toole is brightly dark, Railsback seizes a rare opportunity for comic flexing (though his signature intensity is ever present) and Hershey is adept as the equally lovable yet annoying starlet. Supporting cast is excellent and 'film-within-a-film' action scenes are highly entertaining. My biggest complaint is the soundtrack/music (Dominic Frontiere) which is cheesy and forgettable.
