To all of the people stating "It was not faithful to the original games" you must not have played the games or you expected it to be more like the original film adaptation from 2002. This was honestly as much on point with the games as I could have hoped for. Firstly there is no way it will be exactly like the game. There was literally tens of hours worth of game play per game and this movie pulled from RE 1 and RE 2. The beginning was not in any way connected to the game series but there needs to be something to build from for those that did not play any of the games. But from the moment that the RPD left in a helicopter towards the Arklay Mountains it was nothing but game references. From the initial zombie encounter scene (look at the ORIGINAL RE 1 game), to the moonlight sonata piano scene to open a hidden door, and the set designs are spot on to the games. If you have actually played the games this will be an awesome trip down memory lane. If you liked the original film series this is not a direct reboot of that.
