It's interesting to see a book that may "unintentionally" support abusers in their mission just hanging out here on the market. I never asked to see an advertisement for this book, and this is the first time I've ever clicked a link for it. Everyone deserves mental health care, but I don't know that abusers need a book to encourage them to believe that everything they've ever done is right. I'm torn between buying this book for my mother, so she can "move on" from our partial estrangement. But I also really don't want to encourage the idea that she is more deserving of space and healing than the children she hurt.
