CAROLINE Whitworth

Like those before me ,I remain underwhelmed. It gets more compelling as it moves on but I thought it was rather unengaging in that it seemed to have little that was new to say about wealth. I also found the protagonists very hard to empathise with as it’s somehow unpleasant reading about all this wealth. Is that the point? If so not for me .. a polished novel definitely but not enjoyable.
