This is not a jump scare film. With it being a 15 I knew it would not be gory but considering the games are literally based on jump scares and tension building we expected a conjuring or insidious style movie... We were greatly disappointed. There was good Easter eggs and I know the lore wasn't going to be 100% but it wasn't even 10%. The movie felt more like it was about a girl who sees ghosts then anything else. It felt corny, I mean building a fort... I just stared in disbelief. It gave the characters no justice and left a lot in the way of loose ends. Maybe it was setting up for a sequel but it still should of been something more, instead it fell flat... I mean the weird custody mention and the breaking in... How on earth is that five nights... It just felt over done and I've seen better fan concepts then what we just paid for. Very disappointed
