I’m a huge fan of the original musical but this sucked. I wish I could rip every memory of this movie out of my mind. People in my cinema kept getting up and leaving because they couldn’t stand it and I wish I had saved myself the pain and got up too. Also if you’re gonna make a musical, I have some tips: 1. Advertise it as a musical 2. Stay true to the original musical 3. Cast the main character as someone who can actually sing (Cady) because she sounded like she had a lobotomy every time she opened her mouth to sing 4. Don’t turn every song into a pop version 5. Don’t make each song into a music video Absolute waste of time I want my money back.
