From my site I would let you decide whether you should watch it or not from my neutral review telling about positve and negative sides.Positive and most attractive thing of this serial is the characters almost played successfully while rocking with their dialogue delievery.Roles which forces you to love them by their acting skills are Akbar ,Jodha,Mahamanga and almost all.Good depiction to show rajput and mughal culture.If you want to watch it just for entertainment without caring about actual history ,then this is for you.Don't expect it to be a real story.This serial is mainly focused to love story of Jodha and akbar which is not true,as jodha was not married to Akbar ,the marriage was actually arranged between Harka bai and akbar just for political alliance cleverly done by akbar to stop the revolts from most powerful kingdoms of rajput to strengthen his empire.I don't know how people can call it a love story when Akbar used to have more than 300 wives and 5000 prostitutes in Haram.ok Even if you think that he changed after marrying her ,then why he Was involved in bloodshed of Chitor killing 30,000 People.Why he killed many cows inside our Hindu temples to fill them with our blood.This serial is just gloryfing Akbar image like any drama but doesn't show his dark side.Story of salim and anarkali is not shown correctly.People who think that this serial is good then watch the episodes from 505 to 540 where jodha is possessed by a witch named Laboni which is senseless and funny .Watch it if you want it just for entertainment but don't make any prespective about akbar from this show as this serial includes stupid character like benzir.be careful as this show is made by Ekta kapoor

for me this serial is the medium to know about Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Singh Sisodiya and unsung brave lions of Rajputs whose story has been erased from our books . I would say those roles played by actors who just rocked the screen with their acting,personality and dialogue delievery are Maharani Jayavanti Bai, both child and adult Maharana pratap, Rawat Chundawat,Patta Chundawat,Ragvendra acharaya,Rana Punja Bheel. These actors who played these roles will force you to believe that these are just real as old times.This serial is fantastic with great castes and greatfully succeed to represent Rajput culture.Not even Rajputs but all cast people will love it as a pride of India. War depiction from Historical prespective is excellent which I had never expected from Indian television series like Battle of chittor ,sacrifices of 7000 women during jauhar and shows the real side of Akbar personality how He was involved in bloodshed of chittor which was never shown in any show like jodha akbar serial and movie. Now some characters who could have been better played by actors are adult Maharani Ajabde punwar,Adult Phool Kunwar,Kunwar Amar singh,Not dheer bai but her look change doesn't give any vibe of a Rajput queen but acting is good.First Ajabde maharani who was satisfactory played by Roshni but Rachna somehow will not give you any Princess or Queen vibe from her attire and in some scences her body like belly is visible in some scences which was strictly restricted during old times ,as a Mewar queen she has to show sacrifices for other wives of Maharana pratap to truly depict the sacrifice of Main queen like sharing her husband,strong personality,as she sometimes look like only lover of her husband but not like a queen ,this adult character not childhood has failed to show strong personality of Maharani like Pratap's mother.Amar singh role should be given to adult actor.Now things which should be taken care of are; Scence where KUNWAR pratap bring his wife back Princess just come outside from her doli and visible to all common people is not good as at that time in rajput culture ,there war Purdah system in which queens can only be seen by their husbands in their private time. Ajabde and royal queens in many scences come in front of uday singh specially Rani ajabde without ghungat ,as at that time queens were supposed not even look straight in front of elder males.I know mughals were cruel but they never killed rani ajabde shown in episode 511 ,she died of tuberclosis while giving birth to 4th child of Maharana ,this is disrespectful to show such important events like death in wrong way .Meanwhile ,the personal life of Maharana pratap is not depicted properly as Rana used to have other 10 wives other than Rani ajabde and have 17 sons and 5 daughter ,in serial only amar singh is shown as their next successor.Sacrifice of Queen Ajabde to share her husband with other 10 wives could be better choice by makers to deeply understand sacrifice of 1st queen of kingdom.Most importantly Maharana was never upset with ajabde after their 2 years of marriage ,she gave birth to Amar singh at age of 17 . Phool kunwar character is weakly shown at adulthood that Rana never touched or loved her other than ajabde which is disrespectful for a queen who also loved RANA deeply.Major event like death of Rana is shown wrongly as he died at chawand while getting wound in his chest by a tiger during hunting.Serial is overall good]
