Just started watching this lifestyle show, and I really like it! I like the mix of cooking, crafts, gift ideas and just miscellaneous hostess ideas that are doable even on a budget. I've watched a lot of lifestyle shows on HGTV. Of course many concentrate on one area - cooking, decorating, gardening - because of the host's expertise. But IMO it gets too one note after a while. I don't have time to watch 4 separate lifestyle shows for all my interests. So it's nice to get a bit of everything in one hour. The most similar show that I could compare it to would be Martha Stewart's from the 90s. But, c'mon - I never felt I could achieve what MS did even with her walking me through it. She was an entertaining professional with a huge staff to get the perfect effect. Is this show contrived and inauthentic? EVERY lifestyle show is contrived and inauthentic! I mean, QUEER EYE makeovers take a lot longer to plan and execute than one week. They take months. But they don't show the crazy hard parts because it all has to be edited down to 50 minutes. Doesn't stop viewers from enjoying them though. Bottom line...yes, more please! I will keep watching.
