This is the first Gamache book that I wanted to end. The plot was confusing, the leaps to next steps from nowhere were distracting, and it took way too long to reach wherever it was going. Like too many tv mysteries, it seemed to reach conclusions with no real basis to support them, but were necessary to solve a mystery. It seemed as though things were just made up to advance the plot but came out of nowhere. I have enjoyed almost all of the Gamache series and I really looked forward to the Grey Wolf but I was very disappointed. The best part was the modest time spent on the Three Pines characters and family and I enjoy the interaction between Gamache and LaCoste and Beauvoir.

Twisters

An okay movie, nice but predictable. If you have seen Hoosiers or McFarland USA this will be familiar,but it did not grab me like those did. An underdog under-represented group with big dreams and struggles, becomes successful through hard work and perseverance under the guidance of a tough but compassionate coach. Good cast, decent acting, well shot scenes. Was not hard to see where this one was going. Not one I will stop to watch when I come across it again.
