"I can't believe I watched the whole thing!" Quirky characters and the mystery enfolding held my interest- but OMG it moved soooo slowly. The hour long show crawled along and felt like 2 hours. The soundtrack is magnificent. If you know anything about the music being played, it expanded on the depth of the scene. Each character is investigated really well for the viewer, but that may be part of why it progressed so slowly. There are some really shocking things that won't be for everyone, but that said, everything shown was necessary in developing the story. But did we really need to see so much of someone scattering ashes? Or rearranging a room? Or obsessing about folding clothes? So many scenes should have been made shorter. That's where I'd lose interest. The plot was very engrossing and the characters were incredibly imaginative. The opening scene tells us definitely that someone dies and we think we know who. That's a great way to involve the audience. However!! please, if there's a season 2, speed it up!

Both my husband and I are big fans of this show. I sincerely hope it makes it. Season 2 Episode 2 was particulary good. Yes- I see comments about it being biased and I do not agree. The heartbreaking story of an immigrant family being torn apart was not fiction. In fact, there are true stories about families being torn apart under the guise of national security that are much more heartbreaking. I say Thank You for shedding light on this issue. I love this show and hope it makes it through the ratings wars.
