This movie is so endearing to me. I have watched it so many times that I know where the lines fit. I have it on almost every day that I'm grading stacks and stacks and stacks of assignments. I know when I want to look up to get a good giggle, a good laugh, a sweet smile, or even a tear. Maybe it is the little girl at the very end who plays Posey, which reminds me of one of my nieces. Maybe it's the Rachel McAdams character that reminds me of another niece, who is also short, has dimples, a great smile and is joyful. I have several movies that I just "love to pieces." This is now one of them. I love its concept, I love the story, I love the characters. I just love this movie more and more and more. To me it truly is an unknown treasure of a movie. Unpretentious with just an undertone of goodness, kindness, and openness to love simply. Probably my favorite line is probably, "...marry some-one...kind." That alone can be such good advice for so many. I love that there is no "magical" moments, or "magical" characters; yes, it is time travel, but it's not disruptive like other time travel movies have had embedded. This one tries it and corrects it (the car crash and such). I would like the thank the writers, producers, director, and actors for this film. This film so often brightens my day, my spirits, and my mood, because life can sometimes feel so rushed, dark, or down, stressed, or tired. A light story without too many complications can briefly lighten your load, make you feel good for awhile, and that is a pleasant thing. I appreciate the movie more and more each and every time I watch it.
