While The Platform has some interesting ideas e.g (human behaviour, group psychosis, ethics etc.) the acting appeared mediocre at times and it seemed to fall a bit flat in general at certain points. In addition to this it often delivered up stereotypical images/portrayals of it's characters e.g (the angry black man). Some of the major characters felt a little one dimensional and suffered from a lack of storyline to give the a strong motivation for their presence.
Having said all that, the film does feel poignant with the whole corona virus situation staring us in the face (run for your lives!) as it relates to our ethics and human behaviour in a time of dire straits.
So anyway, if you like a bit of blood and gore give it a go.
I should probably mention that I did watch an english dubbed version so maybe some things were lost in translation. Lol!
