Save your time, read the book and skip the movie. The way it was filmed was too "artistic" for its own good. It made a straight forward, powerful story into something confusing and almost unwatchable. I was waiting for the first person view to change and then after 30 minutes realized, nope, it's going to be like this for 140 minutes.

Just completed my first run through of As Dusk Falls. Absolutely loved the story and after completing I was interested in what other people's paths were. They seem to differ quite a lot, and at the time some small choices, create big differences. I love how at the end of each chapter it shows your path, the blank various paths that could have happened, and the percentage of people following your path. By the end of the game some of my choices were only like 5%-10% of the population. I thought my wife would enjoy watching me play, but she didn't have the patience for the art style. In short spurts I can see why people wouldn't like the style, but I think it worked really well as they could focus a scene's emotion with the dialog. It was like I was playing a comic book. Overall, great game if you enjoy story driven games.
