I truly enjoyed the book. It was slow at the beginning and there were some moments in the book that seemed disjointed and left me pondering several plot holes and "why did we go there, or why was that relevant", but overall I think it was a good sequel to the first book and gets you thinking more about society today (politics, race, gender identity, social media taking over our lives) and implications around obsessing over such things while civilization is on a razor's edge.
