Honestly this isnt one of the best shows I've seen. The first season was absolute horrific and was clearly a cheap knock off version of the Office U.S (although I do think that the Office UK is better but that's irrelevant) and the second season wasnt much better. The only reason I am giving the show 3 stars is because it did start to pick up when Rob Lowe and Adam Scott joined the show and hit its peak from seasons 3 - 6, although after 6 it does go a bit downhill. If I were you I would skip the first 2 seasons.
