Terrible! The scene transitions are so poor that they used fade to black many times, it's lacking a rhythm between songs and story, it had me both confused and bored. I could not understand the dialogues, tho the movie is in "Spanish" and I'm a native Spanish speaker, dang! I can't even believe the song "El Mal" is nominated for best song, I couldn't understand a single word and the vocal performance falls short. I did not believe any of the actresses, their line delivery felt over dramatic like a "telenovela" (soap opera). The weird fact is that it actually started strong and I wanted to see how the lawyer's story would progress, but her character is soon tossed aside to focus on Emilia, which I could not care less for. The audience, we could not care less about any of the character, that we laughed multiple times on the scenes that were supposed to be sad or dramatic. We were too hard with Joker 2 as a musical, if we thought Joker Foliex a Deus was a joke, hold your clown makeup cause miss Emilia Perez is the real joke.
