This was an excellent mini-series and deserves to be seen. With so much chaotic drama that was unfolding back-to-back during the time being portrayed in this series, it could be tricky to even keep up with. Watching it all unfold in chronological order was a much more organized look back at everything that was happening throughout the ‘16 election and the early parts of Trump’s presidency. The cast and performances were pretty great! Solid acting across the board. Don’t let the mediocre reviews discourage you from watching this mini-series. It’s pretty clear that the bad reviews are coming from those who believe that Donald Trump is an upstanding and honest man who can do no wrong. I would argue that this seemed like a pretty fair depiction of what was happening at the time. It doesn’t paint Trump in the best of light but unethical and/or criminal behavior shouldn’t be washed over to keep everyone happy.
