This book is very raw and very bleak. I enjoyed sections of it (the parts where things happened and it wasn't just a sad inner monologue) but overall it wasn't for me. It tells the story of an isolated, mentally ill girl who just wants to be loved. Warning: there are no lighter moments or anything to raise a smile.
