Indi “Indij” Jones

This is my first Freida McFadden book, and I was very disappointed. I have heard good things about this author. I really wanted to like it, however the plot was shallow and didn’t seem well thought out. Each of the characters were highly unlikeable and the relationships were very tumultuous and it made me wonder why this group of people did this trip each year. And how this year they let one of the characters’ new boyfriend suggest the location for the trip and none of the other characters checked out this location for themselves? Just didn’t really make sense to the narrative. I finished the book but I wouldn’t read it again or recommend unfortunately. The plot gets wrapped up very near the end and I didn’t find it worth it. What I will say on a final positive note, is that I did enjoy the anonymous chapters and guessing who that might be!
