I'm an older Pokemon fan, starting out with Red. I played through the games up until "Let's Go Eevee." I gotta say that I really haven't enjoyed pokemon very much after Ruby. I even borrowed the most recent one from a friend and couldn't get past the beginning. Pokemon Arceus is DIFFERENT than the rest of the games. It is more focused on catching pokemon, but in a good way that is satisfying. There's also plenty of battling and story. This game has me hooked and somehow brings me back to the days of Pokemon Red. The only disappointment is that we didn't get the original starters, but we did get a lot of the gen 1 pokemon such as geodude, zubat, machop, onix. So if you're like me, where you enjoyed gen 1 but haven't enjoyed the more recent games, then give this a try!

Excellent movie! 10/10! Excellent story, simple and not over the top. Excellent music, some classic Nintendo music and some classic rock songs. I would definitely watch it in theaters again and will 100% buy when it comes out on DVD.
