I like the show. But it suffered a fifth star review based solely on the GOD awful just HORRIBLE main casting choices. And really I mean choice, singular, because the guy who plays Maximus plays him as such a dim witted, annoying, moronic boob, it left me wondering “Does the character have a TBI? Is that part of Fallout canon?” I’ve never rooted against a protagonist harder in my life. And is that the character, or the actor’s choices in playing this character? If it’s the latter it is unforgivable. Both for the casting director and the guy playing him. And I loathed him so much I’m on the fence about being able to stomach any more screen time with this dude in season 2.
