As far as the story and the acting goes, the show is great, the cinematography was good the plot was well thought out and the characters had some depth, it also contributes to the diversity of the cw DC shows, giving both our first bat verse show and first Dc show with an lgbt lead. Unfortunately there’s 2 glaring issues, the comic accuracy lacks, the writers “pg’d” batwoman’s tragic origin, from being kidnapped by terrorists to a car crash, making Kate Kane’s origin as batwoman fit in with many other shows and movies, and the final issue was the editing and sound, the frame rate in the flashback scenes was deplorable, it made me feel like I was watching a 2006 lifetime movie and the sound was also pretty terrible, the sound editors seemed to prioritize music and dramatic riffs over important character dialogue and sound effects. But overall Batwoman was a really good show and I would most likely recommend it to a friend.
