Palmer’s book started on a downer. It seemed he complained incessantly about his declining years, lamenting his life. Had it been enough? He seems to want more. I say you have had a great life. But then I begin to realize he is speaking from a frame of periodic depression so, ok, I get it.
Then, after the first three chapters he began to speak to me in words I understand. And, I find solace in what he says despite my lack of achieving anywhere near what he has with his life.
Read it and take what you need today. Then save his words for another time in your life. I’m glad I spent these hours with this small book.
