Iโm not scared of anxious bodily sensations, I know I wonโt die from panic attacks. According to the book, I should be all cured already.
โYou survived it, so stop being anxious! All good!โ. Thatโs the only thing written in the book, repetitive in every chapter.
In reality, there are so many types of anxiety and the causes are all different. Can be a result of ADHD, Autism, trauma, OCD etc. Lots of people are chronically anxious since young age, we arenโt scared of the symptoms. Only tired of having them.
Seems like the writer had slight anxiety later in life for a brief period, and now telling others to just move on quickly too.
A small amount of people who are very new to anxiety disorder often go โwhatโs happening to me ? Is it heart attack?? Am I dying????โ, this book is for them. But thatโs about it. Anxiety is much more complex and the book oversimplified.
Writer is very ignorant and dismissive of anxiety. Any professionals rating this book 5 star doesnโt understand the real depth of anxiety, never experienced anxiety themselves.
