Overall this game is a lot of pure co op fun. The world they created in which you go do various missions in diverse environments is great. I wouldn't say it's a 5 star game because the gun play is just above average to me. For reference, speaking of third person shooters, I found Gears of War, Ghost Recon, Remnant 2, and Outriders to have more fun gun play with better evasive maneuvers and shooting. Helldivers is gun play along with calling in various air strikes and turrets, etc. To me, this can get a bit over done, and at times makes it too easy. Or it's all very necessary on the harder difficulties, which isn't as fun to me. Calling in a bunch of air strikes just isn't my idea of a good time. That said, like I said, the game is very fun and a solid 4 stars to me. Also, the cosmetic options are like 1995 lol... Can't change the color of anything. The system they have to unlock stuff is horrible. Even if you pay real money to unlock a "warbond", which is basically a three page set of items, you still have to spend in game medals as currency to unlock the items you PAID real money for. I literally can't believe they implemented this atrocious system. But I'd say this is a testament to how fun the core play is, people still love the game. I don't love it, but I like it a lot 👍
