Being an ex-pilot in SAC. I was the Captain of a KC-135 in the 80's. We were on EWO, emergency war order, alert every 4 weeks for a week. Our job was to airborne fuel the bombers enroute to their targets. This books lays out the plans in some alarming detail. The accuracy of this book is on the money.
It's a good read and should be read by all our leaders.
